The cost of confusion

One cancellation a month pays for the year.

Most same-day cancellations trace to three things a patient misunderstood: when to stop eating, which medications to hold, and who's driving them home.

$2,000 to $5,000
Estimated lost OR time per day-of cancellation
5 to 10 hrs
Estimated pre-op nurse phone time each week, answering the same questions
One a month
Cancellations prevented for the program to pay for itself, on those estimates

Industry-range estimates, not results from a PreOp Partner site. Your pilot measures your own numbers, and those are the ones the decision gets made on.

Dr. Patrick Nailer, MD · board-certified anesthesiologist
"I've cancelled cases over a cup of coffee at the wrong hour. Almost every one was preventable - the patient just never got a clear answer. So I recorded the answers myself, the way I give them in pre-op, and put them one tap away for every patient you schedule."

Questions administrators ask

Answers, before the sales call.

What is PreOp Partner?

A pre-op patient education program for ambulatory surgery centers. Every patient gets a short video and a one-page guide per topic - eating and drinking, medications, day-of logistics, and eleven more - in your center's brand, reviewed by a board-certified anesthesiologist.

How does it reduce same-day cancellations?

Most day-of cancellations trace to a misunderstood NPO rule, a medication that wasn't held, or a missing ride home. Patients get those answers in short videos before the misunderstanding becomes a cancelled case. One prevented cancellation typically covers more than a month of the program.

Do we need EHR integration or patient logins?

No. There is no software to install and no EHR integration, and patients never create an account. Documentation is available for your vendor and privacy review. You send one link or QR code in your existing appointment text, reminder email, or pre-op packet, and the hub opens on any phone.

How fast can our center launch?

Under a week. We brand the hub, all fourteen handouts, and every video with your colors, logo, and pre-op number - then hand you a single link to send.

What does it cost?

A 90-day pilot is $1,000, credited toward year one, with setup waived. We capture a baseline at kickoff and measure results together, so the annual decision is made on your numbers.

Who owns the clinical content?

Dr. Patrick Nailer, MD, a board-certified anesthesiologist, reviews and owns every clinical claim. Facility-specific policies - NPO cutoffs, GLP-1 holds, arrival times - are set per center, so your patients only ever see your instructions.
